In the second half of the year, the economic operation environment of machinery industry will be improved

On August 8, China Machinery Industry Federation held an information conference on the economic operation situation of the machinery industry in the first half of 2019 in Beijing. Chen Bin, executive vice president of China Machinery Industry Federation, briefly analyzed the operation situation of the industry in the first half of 2019 and pointed out that the development of the industry has been steadily promoted, but problems and pressures still exist. Comprehensive analysis shows that although the economic operation difficulty and pressure of the whole industry of machinery industry in 2019 are large, the favorable factors still exist. It is preliminarily predicted that the overall economic operation of the whole year will be relatively stable, the industrial added value will strive to reach about 6%, and the business income, total profit and import and export trade will maintain a moderate growth.

 

Since this year, under the increasingly complex development environment at home and abroad, the mechanical industry has been under pressure. At the beginning of the year, the sluggish production and marketing continued the trend of last year's decline. In March, it recovered to a certain extent, and then fluctuated after April. The product output appeared differentiation, the decline of benefit indicators narrowed, the investment growth slowed down and stabilized, and the price index remained low. In addition to the large fluctuation of some industries, the economic operation of the machinery industry in the first half of the year was generally stable, and the main economic indicators remained within a reasonable range.

 

Looking forward to the second half of the year, with the implementation of policies and measures such as promoting the deep exploration of domestic market potential, expanding the final consumption, stabilizing the investment in manufacturing industry, improving the basic industrial capacity and industrial chain level, and the implementation of the tax reduction and fee reduction policies, the economic operation environment of the mechanical industry will be improved and the vitality of enterprise development will be further released. However, it should be noted that the deep-seated problems such as the contradiction between supply and demand, structural contradictions and so on that have plagued the development of the industry have not been significantly improved, and the pressure to achieve stable operation throughout the year still exists.
